New edit, I had my first hearing test and Nikki was the same compassionate, caring and patient care giver I witnessed with my Step-Father, even though I am significantly younger than 90 !!! I was in to assist my Step-Father with his hearing aids, and like many 91yr olds, he is a little slower (especially considering he was having difficulties hearing) following the trouble shooting. Nikki was so patient and compassionate in dealing with an older gentleman, that it really warmed my heart to be a bystander as she focused on what he needed and resolving the issue. An UNQUALIFIED Highly Recommended as it is so rare to find anyone as committed as Nikki !!

Today I took my father in law to Zen Hearing thinking he had an appointment but he didn’t. So instead of sending us away Allan kindly said have a coffee audiologists are out not sure when they will be back. We sat outside in the sun and shortly after Nikki pops out introduces herself and said come in and let’s see how I can help. Nikki is the best! I have earaches on my left ear, and she did a full hearing test and sent my results to my doctor. She let me know each step of the process and explained the results and how to maintain my hearing. She also did a last-minute hearing test on my son who was a baby at the time since we were beside something loud, I was scared it affected his hearing. She told me to come in the next day. She also did a hearing test for my husband. Since he is beside piling equipment all day, she ordered ear plugs that were designated for his ears specifically. He still wears them!

I took four seniors to Zen Hearing for various issues. My aunt could not hear at all despite her wearing hearing aids. My uncle had lost his new hearing aid. Nikki worked with each individual to to meet their needs. By the time we left, my uncle had his old hearing aids reprogrammed so that he could continue using his streamer. My aunt, who at the start of the visit, by her own admission had indicated that her hearing was at a zero on a scale of 1-10, rated her hearing at a 7 or an 8 by the end of the visit. My mom and another uncle also had their hearing issues mitigated by the end of our visit. Nikki was compassionate, listened, reassured and met her clients needs such that all four of them rated the visit as a success despite the distance we had to travel to see Nikki. I would highly recommend Zen Hearing Clinic. It is definitely one of two go to hearing clinics in Calgary.

I recently went here to get my hearing checked out, I figured something was wrong as I’ve been having issues in both ears. Nikki was able to assist me and help me understand the damage that was done to my ears over the ears from going to various concerts. She did the hearing test for me and did a gentle job cleaning my inner ears by removing the earwax build up. I’m currently in the works of getting some hearing aids ordered in for myself. The process from start to finish was very easy and wasn’t difficult in the slightest. I would highly recommend her and her team for anyone looking into getting any information or ordering from them!

The sizzling pot of coffee is the initial attraction that awaits each client; and the coffee tastes really good.

That said, the practitioners are really courteous, kind and gentle. My first encounter with Nikki Atienza (my hearing aid practitioner) took place when I first visited KIrkham Hearing Solutions on Whitehorn Drive a long time ago.
